This is not the article that I was referring to in my post to Butch, but it shows about the same thing. Butch and Kabes, I think you guys are having a tough time understanding how incredibly productive Bradley was last year even if it was for only 126 games, if he had played 150 games he would have been more valuable than Pujols. While looking for the article I saw comments like best hitter available, 515 straight ab's with mvp type performance, and best hitter in the American League. Bradley is a difference maker from both sides of the plate, and he is going to be locked into the middle of our lineup for the next three years. If he plays 120 games a year, he is a great value, if he plays 100 games a year he is even money @$10 million a year.
Heck, savant, I'm excited to have Bradley on the team. He's been one of my favorite players for years. Sorry if I haven't been clear about that.
The only problem is that he will miss a lot of games. Thus, his backup is going to get a LOT more playing time than a typical OF backup, so I was thinking that it might be a good idea to have a pretty good player for those 35-60 games that Bradley will likely miss.
But don't think I hate Bradley. I love that fucker.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
