Zito's looks to be the current worst. I'm kind of surprised that people call it the worst ever though; he still has 6 years to turn things around, and given his pristine health, it's possible. He should at least turn into a Marquis-esque innings-eater.
However, the Mike Hampton deal was for just about the same amount ($120 Mil in 2001 dollars) and he's totally sucked for the entire duration of the deal.
Alf's deal was really bad, no doubt, but you know what? I'd much rather have him out there than the Todd Fucking Hollandsworths of the world.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
