My opinion really has nothing to do with his comments on Alou, but I really developed a dislike for Stoney when he appeared to feel he was equal or even above the Cubs team and wanted to step into the spotlight. He was hired as a broadcaster and analyst, not an assistant GM or managers aide. And I also felt things would die down and Stone would fire another shot. It's too bad, the guy was very good at what he did however since he's back to broadcasting his want of doing more in baseball obviously isn't working out. And I have no doubt his work for the Sox is somewhat of a shot back at the Cubs but if he does like Chicago it makes sense. I don't hate him, lets say my respect is diminished.
