If he didn't work as an announcer for the White Sox, which I would do as well in a heartbeat, I don't think you'd have a problem with him.

I know mm didn't care so much, but why the quip about 101 years? It isn't just that he works for the Sox now, but it appears that he has completely bought into their Cubs-hating culture. That's the part I don't like.

I understand, but he was given a pretty raw deal. He didn't want to dislike us. I completely understand his situation so it's hard to fault him for it.

Yeah. He got fucked over. But that was 5 years ago, and there's about to be new ownership, nearly all of the faces have changed, and it's time for him to stop being a bitter, unprofessional douche about the whole thing.
I'll admit it -- even if he never spoke a word about the Cubs, his affiliation with the Sox in and of itself would make me dislike him a little. But he's taking it far beyond where it needs to be and I've started to really despise him.
