Every year, Hendry obsesses about something. This year, it's "handedness." Somehow he's convinced that we lost the series to the Dodgers because we didn't have any LH hitters.

i think lou is convinced of that. i think hendry is giving lou what he wants.

Hendry builds team the way the manager wants it to be built, he did it with Baker and he's doing it now. He got rid of the guys Lou didn't like (Marquis, Cedeno, and Pie) and added the left handed bats he's wanted since he got here. I don't see it really making a difference in the grand scheme of things, but this team is built the way Lou wants it, not necessarily the way we think it should be built.
