If we're looking for a DeRosa-like guy, we could do a lot worse than Ty Wigginton. I'm curious as to why he remains unsigned. Like DeRo, he handles the corner infield and OF spots with aplomb, but can also play 2B (he played quite a bit of 2B in Tampa Bay in '06 and '07).
Last year his OPS+ was 128. (for context, <i>Aramis</i> had a 128 OPS+ last year. DeRo's was 118).
It just seems that with Aramis often missing 20-30 games, and Milton Bradley <i>always</i> missing 30-60 games, it'd be damn valuable to be able to insert a guy in their places who plays at a near All-Star level.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
