During my drive today, I heard a segment of Murph's show with the Stats Inc. guy. DeWon brought up an interesting stat about the percentage of ab's with the platoon advantage. The Cubs were last in all of baseball with only 47% of their ab's with the platoon advantage. Tampa Bay had the best rate at 69%. I think this had a lot to do with with both the Bradley and Miles signings, as well as the DeRosa trade. Against right handers we should always be able to have three quality left handed bats in the lineup, and eight quality bats in the lineup against lefties.
