Regarding should Cubs make a deal for him, depends on what/who’s included.
Could imagine Bellinger/Suzuki, Paredes, Assad, pick an outfield prospect + cash as being more than enough for Astros. Paredes is central to deal but that’s a big get for the Astros. Bellinger vs Suzuki is the other major question which also affects the cash included in deal.
Tucker can provide the power the roster sorely lacks. At what cost is the question to be answered. If you believe that Paredes will bounce back and can provide the power then little reason for discussion
Tucker is a great player, but that's a crazy amount to give up for one season of control.
