Maybe he isn't terrible, but seems like a future 5th starter given his lack of velocity. Canario might have additional upside if he fills out and play a corner OF spot. Maybe "trash" was too negative, but still seems like a disappointing haul.

 

Maybe he's in the Hendricks mold? Wonder how he is in limiting exit velocity.</blockquote>I guess he touches 98 at times but is generally in the 90-95 mph range. Not a complete soft-tosser, but still nothing to brag about. Is there even any exit velo data being tracked in MiLB? No idea, but that's a good question. He's already 24 in AA, so hopefully he can continue to develop once he reaches Iowa.
