I used to think the same, but the last time he said something stupid, I remembered how he used to jab at Soriano pretty much any chance he got. Some of that was stuff we were all thinking about Soriano at the time, but I also recall stumbling upon a blog back in like 2009 entitled "Fire Bob Brenly" that kept track of every time he bagged on a minority or any other potentially controversial thing he said. I only saw the blog once, and at the time I guess I gave Brenly the benefit of the doubt as "our guy" and thought it was mostly blown out of proportion...but later on I realized he was most likely just as much of an ass back then as well.
