Burnett could use a change of scenery but I can't see Yanks or any other team dumping over $10 MM just for the roster spot if there's a decent chance the player can provide average production. With AJ having something like $33 MM left on his contract, it may cost as much as $30 MM for the Yanks to clear off his roster spot.

I've read that they wanted to clear $5-8 mil in payroll to make room for a DH, but teams are still a few million $s apart..
