When I was kid 44 had the old Spiderman and the Marvel animated series. The Marvel stuff was hardly animated though, they'd take panels of Jack Kirby stories and such and make it "move" with jump cuts and then make their mouths moved. It's hard to describe, but I loved it as a kid. They had Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Ironman, Sub-Mariner, it was cool. I think I'd like to try dig those up. Especially for the Jack Kirby stuff.
So they had that and sox games. Which were always at night and the look on the field seemed extra dark and creepy, and all of their fans looked like troglodytes. I mean, the fans at Wrigley were all filthy long hairs too back then, but the sun seemed to at least sanitize them a bit. And all the AL umpires wore red jackets. I miss that actually
I don't know why I just thought of this, when the Cubs played road games in the 70's at Shea it always depressed me. God, I really fucking hated the Mets.

Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.
