Stone at least backtracked on that a bit and said the umps got the call right eventually, but Hawk would have nothing of it. It was awesome.

There argument was great. "He was probably out, but why is the 2nd base ump calling it?". You just know if the situation was reversed they'd be falling over themselves saying how it doesn't matter who call it, as long as they get the answer right.

And game over. This has been a great sports day for me, aside from the Cashner injury.
I hope they stew in it for a few more days.
