That completely ignores the fact that he's striking out almost nine per 9 innings and is allowing less than six hits per 9 innings (as a basis for comparison, David Price averaged 7.5 hits per 9 innings while he was in the minors; his best was 6.6 in 57 innings at AA). That's pretty impressive.

That completely ignores the fact that he's walking almost six per 9 innings (as a basis for comparison, David Price averaged 3.1 walks per 9 innings while he was in the minors; his worst was 4.7 in 34 1/3 innings at AAA). That's pretty unimpressive.
