Cash money has been rocked his last two outings for sure. I think that'll happen from time to time, kind of like it did with Wood and Zambrano when he was younger (now it happens every time). I think yes, we all need to see more, but that unless he justr implodes, he'll be in the rotation next year.
Also there is Diamond and Jackson....who are total wild cards. And maybe beginning of next year is too soon for Archer, but possibly along the way?
As far as Lilly, would like to have him back for the right price and years, but at this point I doubt that. Even so, is he a top of the line rotation guy at 35? Maybe a #3. Don't count out Wells either, he has definitely had his lumps, but seems to be getting it all back together in the second half, still, not a front line guy.
So yes, next year top starter will prob be Dempster, God this team will suck.
