He played in 126 games last season, which is the most since he played in 141 for LA in 2004.
I think that leads to hope that he can be healthy this season and play even more games. And we NEED his OBP, I don't think anyone can complain with .320/.436<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Can he do it for a whole season playing OF in Wrigley as compared to DHing in a very hitter friendly park? I don't know.

I sure hope the fans give him a chance and don't Jaque him out too quickly.

It seems as if the Cubs have been pretty good the last couple seasons being careful with guys who have had injury problems in their careers. Lou makes sure they get their days off, so I'm pretty confident that Bradley should be ok.
And I don't see any reason why the fans would go against Bradley. He's proven that when hes healthy, he can ball. And all indications are he's healthy coming into this season, so he should be able to pick up where he left off last season (.320/.436)

Yeah...the situation with Jacque coming to the Cubs was much different. The fans looked at what he had done with the Twins and decided that it was a bad signing -- plus they were already tired of Burnitz in RF and Jacque wasn't really an upgrade. Unfortunately for Jacque, the fans already made up their mind about him before he even suited up. Bradley, on the other hand, puts up really good numbers (when he's healthy). I don't think the fans will be out to get him at all. In fact, I'm not really sure why their situation is even being compared.

Agreed, plenty of Cubs fan favorites/legends have been black. That BS that Dusty was spreading about racism was way overblown. Strap and LaToya got harrassed because they sucked. Cubs fans hate crappy players and love talented ones. End of story.
