Let me be clear about this statement. Although, I'm pretty close to not giving much of a fuck about any of this anymore...

I think the Cubs have wanted to trade Zambrano for a while, but knew he wasn't going anywhere because of the NTC. I'm not saying that fucked with his head in order for him to waive his NTC. Sometimes I disagree with Cubs management and sometimes they make stupid decisions, but they would have to be certifiable to try and make him go insane or make him so unhappy here that he'd waive his NTC.

"Mission accomplished" meaning now he'd be willing to waive his NTC. "I guess"...meaning not exactly the ideal method of getting there. Not "mission accomplished" meaning "our diabolic scheme has worked...HA HA HA!"
