I'm sure he's thrilled. Because the logical idea is that he wanted to drive down the value of a guy he signed to a 90 million dollar contract, so he could trade him for cents on the dollar. Because that would totally reflect well on his tenure.

Since you are good at bringing things around to a calmer, more rational view of Hendry's actions...what insight can you offer into his tendency to throw expensive players under the media bus when they go nuts and may need to be dealt?

I guess if you consider admitting to the human beings on the planet with a functioning brain cell that Bradley and Zambrano might not be the bestest teammates ever "throwing them under the bus", then Hendry is guilty.
I'm sure, had Hendry kept his mouth shut, we'd be deluged with offers for Zambrano right now. Because that's totally the kind of thing that opposing teams only find out about when GM's talk about it in public.
