You know, Shark isn't the most popular fellow round these parts... but if we're going to wave the white flag at the trade deadline, I really think we should just turn the team over to the young guys. Let Shark become our #5 starter, and throw him out there every 5 days, and see what happens. Don't yank him around if he has a disaster game. Let him learn from it, and try again in 5 days.
What's the downside of this? The only one I can think of is that we lose a whole lot of games, but if we aren't making a playoff push, who cares? In fact, it may benefit us, because it'd give us a higher pick in next year's draft, and by all accounts, it's gonna be one of the most loaded drafts in <i>years.</i>
Win-win. Play the kids and see if they can hack it.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
