I haven't been following the youngsters as closely as I would like.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Jackson has hit for power all year long. He had a slugging of .517 in Daytona which is fabulous for that league. The FSL has been known as a very difficult place to hit, especially for power. To have a solid slugging percentage in that league is extremely encouraging.
Many have been curious to see where his home run numbers go after leaving the FSL. So far in 8 games with the Smokies, Jackson has hit 2 home runs and has a .667 slugging percentage. He's going to be very highly regarded among all of baseball's top prospects.

That's good news. I remember not many people were high on picking him...seems like Tim Wilken's picks have been turning out pretty nice. How is Vitters doing?

Struggling at AA right now, but he's only 20 and has currently been hitting a bit lately. He's at an .800 OPS over the last 10 games in which he's drawn 3 walks and hit 2 doubles and 2 homers.
