It's pretty fucked up that no one has spoken to him directly since Friday. The front office has got to be trying hard to unload him before his "treatment" is complete, otherwise why the silent treatment unless Z has already moved on?

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->“Jim’s been in touch with Carlos’ agent, and I think he plans on talking to Carlos personally,” said manager Lou Piniella in the dugout a few minutes ago. The nameplate is still above Carlos’ locker in the clubhouse, but of course, he’s not been around because of the indefinite suspension. We may know something by the bottom of the hour.
Teammate Alfonso Soriano said Z will have some explaining and some apologizing to do. Sori said he called Z again last night, but that “the phone was off.”
“We’re friends,” Sori said. “It happened on Friday, and he’s my friend. I’ve got to talk to him and see everything about why he did that.
“Right now, we’re not paying attention to him. We’ve got a lot of things to do and a lot of things to think about and not think about Zambrano. In a couple hours, we have a game.
“I think that he needs to apologize. What he did, it’s not good for the team and not good for everybody because he did it in front of the cameras, in front of a lot of people. I think he needs to explain what he did on Friday.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->"I think that's up to him," Dempster said Monday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "When you do those things and react the way he did you have to be the one to stand up and go out there and accept responsibility. I think he will be willing to do that but we'll have to wait and see. I can't make speculations because I don't know what's going to happen. Whatever happens, happens and we're just worried about going out and winning the ball game tonight."<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
