Wow. I'm not sure where I should even start.
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->You have anything constructive to say? How can the Cubs get better? Doing more of the same isn't working.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I do have ideas on how the Cubs can get better. I'd like to think that my ideas are better than changing the name of the team and getting a guy like AJ Pierzynksi on the roster (who was universally hated and essentially run out of town by his teammates in San Francisco, by the way -- sound like anyone else we've been discussing in this thread?).
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Nice stat about most playoff appearances since '83 but you would trade all 6 for one WS ring. You know you would.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Of course I would. But that wasn't part of the discussion. I was responding to your claim that the Sox are usually better than the Cubs. I was offering a counterpoint. That's how arguments work. They don't typically unfold like:
"The sky is purple."
"I'm pretty sure the sky is blue -- here's a photo to support my argument."
"Clouds are white, and you know it!
