Wow. The difference between the night and day starts...it's like...I don't, two things that are really different.

Wells has had 2 terrible starts. The Cardinal game when he gave up the 6 runs (5 ER) in 0 innings and the Pirates game where he gave up 7 runs (6 ER) in 2 innings.
The Cards game was a day game. The Pirates game was a night game. Otherwise, Wells can suck just as badly at night as he can in the day.
Without those craptacular games, he's ERA becomes a near respectable 4.14 which is fine for a No.4/5 pitcher making the league minimum.
The problem, the Cubs can't get rid of those games and it appears that Wells seems just as likely to give up a win in the first inning as pitching a quality start.
