In fact, if we're sellers, we'd probably pick up most of his salary for the rest of the season (since we've budgeted for it) in order to get more in return. If Lee were hitting, I don't think many teams would balk at his salary even for just a half season. I think we would get screwed trying to sell low on him though.

The question is do we think he'll be back? If we're selling and don't think he'll be back, better to sell low then get nothing for him.

As long as we don't have to pay a majority of his salary, then just about any trade that nets us anything of value is fine. I don't think he will re-sign here.

I'd rather pay more of his salary and get more in return for a trade.
