I know the albums haven't been as big as early stuff, but Pearl Jam has released 5 studio albums since '96 and continue to sell out arenas and amphitheaters everywhere. I would have a really hard time saying that is a lack of relevance. I saw them 3 times last year and Hartford was one the best shows I've ever seen.

outside of "yield", every one of those albums were mediocre at best. the reason they were selling out arenas was because people wanted to hear the early stuff, not the new stuff. you can probably say the same thing about the pumpkins.
all i'm saying is that a lot of people here are coming down on billy when all the same things can be said about vedder.

Same here. Corgan's antics don't make me like his music any less either. I'm a huge fan regardless.
