i agree. maybe my favorite tv show of all time.
a recent show that i thought had promise but was canceled was life on mars. i guess they told them ahead of time so they were able to rewrite and shoot the last few episodes and end it in a way that their story got told and i thought their finale was really great as opposed to another canceled show i liked, dirty sexy money, which never got to have a finale so we never got to find out how it was going to be resolved.
Life is a bitch, but she's totally doable.

I loved the first few seasons of Six Feet, and there were brilliant episodes sprinkled throughout the later series, but I felt it was going downhill a bit towards the end. I'm glad they ended it when they did. The series finale was fantastic.

I never liked MASH in general, but even I thought the finale was good. AQnother disappointed finish was the "cheers" finale.
I think the problem is that when a much loved show comes to an end, people tend to think it should go out with a bang. When the show ends much the same way it begins, there's a let down. "Lost" and "24" ended superbly.

I didn't like the Seinfeld Finale when I first saw it but I like it now.
Yes the story line is a little forced, even by seinfeld standards, but it was a great excuse to bring back all the shows characters and relive the long history of the show.
It definitely wasn't a typical Seinfeld show but I thought it was a good send off.

I liked the Seinfeld finale. I get why people didn't though. There's some clever things in it that only the big fans of the show would get. Like the very last conversation of the show is the same conversation they have in the pilot episode of the series about a button being in the wrong place.

Butcher was probably afraid that some Sox fans like the Seinfeld finale.
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy
