In all seriousness, he belongs on somebody's roster for at least another shot. Not ours, but somebody's. I think he can still be a serviceable bench bat.

I don't know if you guys realize it from the box score, but for the past two nights in a row, our Triple A team (Iowa) has lost by surrendering a come-from-behind, bottom-of-the-9th, Kirk Gibson-like home run.
You have to admit, that's crazy.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

I remember that Chen was heralded a bit two years ago, and then fell off the map a bit. Is he putting himself back on the radar as a solid prospect?
I know every team probably thinks this about themselves, but it seems like we are loaded, loaded with good pitching prospects.

He's been great at Tenn. He's somewhat old for the league (24 I think), but is doing quite well considering he was pitching Indy ball this time last year. He's also an awful christian music singer fwiw.

Just turned 25, but is suddenly becoming relevant. He was good early on as a starter, but then had some shoulder (or elbow?) problems. Mariners made him a reliever, and he was terrible. They released him, he had some surgery, and tried to come back in the independent leagues. Cubs grabbed him, made him a starter again, and he's been dominant (if a bit old) for two years now. His WHIP this year is a hilarious 0.77.
