Different rule, but yeah. Rule 4.12(a)(3) calls for a suspended game on account of light failure.

At some point they'd have to decide to empty the stadium with the remaining twilight because it'd be safer than trying to in the dark.

Ah, the good old days when games at Wrigley were actually suspended because of darkness.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.
