That is what I was thinking...not sure why he put the eye roll. I know he is going to say that fields in the minors are bad and things like that, but 15 errors is 15 errors, that is a lot any way you look at it.

The eye roll is for the fact that we JUST went through this nonsense with Castro and now everyone is seeing that he is a superior defender despite errors in the minors. Errors are just not a very telling stat in minor league ball.

If it was a guy that I haven't heard positive evaluations on like Vitters, I would be more concerned (and in Vitters case, I am concerned he can stay at third partly due to his errors).

I didn't say anything about his defensive prowess, I just said wow to the fact that he has a lot of errors so far. 15 errors in 6 weeks is a lot no matter how you slice it.

Any potential for this Diamond person in the pen?
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

This is why the Howry signing is just plain shithouse. I know Hendry has a chubby for overpriced veteran bullpen guys, but why bother when you have guys such as Diamond, Cashner and Jackson who are absolutely smashing it.
