<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Why does everyone hate Cusak?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
He jumped on the Sox bandwagon in '05 when they went to the World Series despite growing up on the Northside and being a lifelong Cubs fan. Basically begged Reinsdorf for World Series tickets and showed up wearing a Sox hat.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
OK, got it. Let's lynch him.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I still like him.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Explain, please.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Because I think he IS a Cubs fan, and I don't find it odd at all that a guy who doesn't live in Chicago, doesn't deal with Sox fans, doesn't listen to the Hawk on a daily basis, could like the Cubs and NOT hate the Sox.
when I lived in Champaign, I didn't root for the Sox, but I didn't despise them with the white hot fury that I despise them with now.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well, I didn't hate them very much until 2005 either, but the way that Cusack reveled in the 2005 WS and rented out a luxury suite and on and on and on, was a bit much for me to take. I can separate his acting work from his personal life, but it doesn't mean I have to like him. I still like many of his movies, but I can't take him seriously as a person.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
All I can say is that if I spent most of my adult life living in L.A., it's not inconceivable that I would root for either of my hometown teams to do well.
He is not exposed to the non-stop douchery that we are.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.
