I just created a free H2H league on Yahoo with a classic 5x5 format. Draft is tentatively set for Friday at 6PM ET/5PM CT.

I have never participated in fantasy sports (beyond being a Cubs fan) and don't know what the 5X5 format is. Is there a tutorial for idiots anywhere?

5X5 means, there are 5 hitting stats (runs, rbi, hr, avg & sb) and 5 pitching stats (W, K, SV, ERA, WHIP).

In head to head, you get a win or lose or tie for each category versus whomever you're playing that week.

So the best you could do would be to go 10-0-0 on the week. Then they use that to put you in the standings. It's pretty fun and easy. And since this league is free, it's a decent starting point.

I think the biggest problem would be Auz, as he's on a completely different time table than the rest of us. But I prefer after 7 pm cst. But if I'm forced to autodraft, it's not the end of the world.

That's what I was thinking with him, it's gonna be tough. I can do Saturday night, say 8 or 9 Central, which is Noon or 1pm in Sydney on Sunday. I work every night till then, with the exception of tonight, which doesn't leave much time to add more people.
