R.I.P. Dave Smith

Smith played for the Astros from 1980-90 and was an All-Star in 1986 and 1990. He finished his career with the Chicago Cubs in 1992.

The offseason when we signed him was one of the more exciting times I can remember. We signed him, Danny Jackson, and George Bell.....boy do I feel dumb now. R.I.P.

That's just what they WANT you to think. And if I remember reports correctly, McGlothen was killed in a mobile home fire, along with his "lady friend".
