Dirk, you must have missed the thread that we're referring to.
FWIW, I'm <i>extremely</i> easygoing when it comes to humor. And I also know that "tone" is often misinterpreted on the internet, so perhaps I read it wrong. And it certainly wasn't a blatant thing; it was a 51/49 thing. But it hit me wrong.
Again, that's just one dumb guy's opinion. Carry on.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

You know, on one level, this "Cubs fans are racists" allegation is one of the more perfect jabs. Most (yeah, I know, not even close to all), Cubs fans are politically correct, flaming liberals when it comes to politics. So the racism accusation just hits right in the gonads.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.
