Pierre probably played the worst baseball of his career the first 2 months of 2006. He has not lived up to his Dodger contract, and of course he was on the '03 Marlins. Of course we don't like him, but he hit .308 with a .365 OBP. Maybe he is not so bad.
I like you guys a lot.

This line of thinking needs to cease right now. No Pierre. NO. FUCKING. PIERRE.

Sure, why not trade for Pierre and Castillo. Then we'd have 3/9 of the 2003 world champs' lineup back at Wrigley once again on a daily basis, only older and with declining skills all around. And Kasper, who was their PBP man that season, would never say a word about the magical 2003 season either. That wouldn't be awkward, not even in the slightest. If they'll do it to you, they'll do it with you.
Or something like that.

We really need to bite the bullet and keep Bradley. Try to get him to grovel to the fans a little and hope for the best. I can't see a better option available at this point.

I agree 100%, Butch - and I freaking railed on Bradley all year last year.
That's how awful the other options are.

Yes. I hate to say this, because it's giving in to the little shit, but - maybe promise him special treatment or exemption or some shit from the media? I don't know, I think that would go a long way to getting him to perform and redeeming some trade value.
Our best hope is he behaves and has a great first half and we can ditch him at the trade deadline. This pennies on the dollar shit just isn't going to fly, especially with how hamstrung we are already.

We can and probably will try and make peace with Bradley. It's going to end very badly.

I don't think there's much of a chance he stays, but I sure hope that's the case. I really think he hits next year. Well, much better than 09 at least.
Clubhouse chemistry is nice and all, but give me a break, they're not going to perform worse because they don't like somebody on their team. That's not how baseball works. Just don't pay attention to his shit, try to get along, and all could be just fine. Unfortunately we'll deal his ass for some piece of shit and pay most of his salary. It'll be one of the dumbest things this embarrassing organization's done in our lifetime.

Maybe not all bad. Hopefully, somehow, Sulli winds up dead or incapacitated. Or maybe just out of journalism.
Preferably dead, however.

The problem with keeping Bradley is that he and Fukudome are both RFs at this point.

That's wrong. Milton is a DH at this point.

Cameron just signed with the Red Sox. 2 years/$15.5 million or so.
