Bradley
<!--quoteo(post=71120:date=Dec 8 2009, 06:49 PM:name=Ace)-->QUOTE (Ace @ Dec 8 2009, 06:49 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Ok, so per Wittenmyer (and adding up what we know), it looks like it's an AL team, not the Rangers, Rays, Mariners, or Angels, and the player coming back is a big ugly contract, and it's a player that the Cubs don't actually want to keep.

Any thoughts? I'm coming up blank.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Jesus Christ, I've seen easier riddles in the Saw movies.

I would be good with that.

You know its incredible how easily people freak out...there are so many rumors swirling around, 98 percent of which are probably complete BS, and message board frequenters everywhere are going ballistic.

That would be fine... though if he's a guy the Cubs don't want to keep, that would be a little frustrating.

Ballistic? I mean...I don't see that here. Strong opinions on the merits of each and every hypothetical, sure...but everyone here seems to know the difference between a rumor and well...actual information.

Didn't say on here. I've seen it like crazy on other boards though....NSBB in particular.

No, I know you didn't mean here. I'm complimenting this place for not being a bastion of idiocy.

Jose Guillen? Travis Hafner? Eric Chavez? I'm running out of bad AL contracts we could trade Bradley for.

To trade Bradley for any of those guys would top even the 2-year deal Jim gave Neifi.

Not unless the Blue Jays are willing to eat a TON of the difference between the deals.

I will bet my unborn first child that Bradley will still be a Cub by the time the Winter Meetings finish. I will bet my right kidney that he will be a Cub come opening day...

We're going to be stuck with this douche for quite a while. I can't say that I'm surprised.

We're going to get assraped so hard by the end of this. Harder than Edward Norton in American History X.
