yeah, i wasn't saying it's the greatest thing on or anything, just that i thought it was possible, straw, that you might have a different view of the show had you seen it from the beginning.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Imagine this. At a time of political turmoil, a charismatic, telegenic new leader arrives virtually out of nowhere. He offers a message of hope and reconciliation based on compromise and promises to marshal technology for a better future that will include universal health care.
The news media swoons in admiration -- one simpering anchorman even shouts at a reporter who asks a tough question: ``Why don't you show some respect?!!'' The public is likewise smitten, except for a few nut cases who circulate batty rumors on the Internet about the leader's origins and intentions. The leader, undismayed, offers assurances that are soothing, if also just a tiny bit condescending: ``Embracing change is never easy.''<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Yeah. I watched episode 1. I thought..."Hmmm...a not-so-subtle metaphor for the Obama administration." Then when Anna talked about taking over the healthcare system, to which the reporter responded, "Like universal healthcare?" I thought...wow...that's pretty ham-fisted.
Still, it wasn't altogether horrible.

1. "V" is great. I like it alot, though I never saw the original.
2. "Flash Forward" is also great, though Joseph Fiennes does suck. His brother would have been better.
3. I thought for sure this thread was going to be about Baron.
Wang.
Ok, I think were all pretty much in agreement that this years sales suck. Thats not what makes me mad.
What makes me mad is that companies like Best Buy and Target are going to say "Oh, our sales are down because the economy is slow" instead of realizing that the real reason most people arent going to show up on BF at these stores this year is their sales are terrible.
So, am I the only one here who hopes these companies know who really is to blame for the bad sales that will likely happen?
