Yeah, as a former White Sock, I figured he wouldn't be tops on your list.
BTW, am I the only one on the site who would rather keep Bradley than deal him away for some other team's stupid signing?

I just can't imagine he'll ever be able to perform here. He can't get over himself and the fans will eat him alive after his comments. He needs to go away.

I admit that he's created a bed of nails for himself in Chicago. But were any of his comments really that horrendous? Nothing he said was keeping me up at night. They sounded like something that a guy would say near the end of a really frustrating year.

Baseball rules (or the baseball "culture" of traditions) are different from the rules of reality, so Rok, I believe you're probably right...many Wrigley denizens would be riding his ass pretty hard if he ever ran out to RF again, and the Cub's front office may feel like they have to shed him, to save face.

But personally, I don't want to trade him for Rowand or Oliver Perez or some other team's mediocre/overpaid bum.

I'm guessing he was suspended for reasons that go beyond the comments he made to the media. It sounds like he was just being a prick in general those last few days before his suspension. He reportedly got in a shouting match with Von Joshua, and chances are he probably pissed off Lou and some other teammates as well, based upon the fact that no one on the team really spoke up for him after the suspension. So there's a good chance that he said/did some nasty stuff behind closed doors that irritated Hendry and led to the suspension as well.

Unless he was cornholing Lou's wife, and purposely pounding D. Lee on the head and neck, I don't think it's worth eating $21 Million bucks, and shitcanning a guy who, even during what is likely the worst year of his life, has put up a .378 OBP.

I know I'm in the minority here. But I honestly think he could be a premier-type player next year, and there's no WAY we're going to get back a similar talent via trade.

Eating $21M? WTF? You think we'll pay all of his salary to play somewhere else?

No chance he has a bounce-back year with the Cubs. He can't handle it here. Can't handle the fans and can't handle the media. He is a giant vagina who belongs in a small market somewhere. He might have a bounce-back season, but it wouldn't be at Wrigley. No way.

Yep, and from all that I've read today, KC, the Mets, Padres and Giants are already interested in him. I don't think we'll end up eating the majority of his contract.

I think he has a HUGE bounceback year next year, if nothing else, just to stick it to the Cubs.

I agree, we'll have to eat some of his salary, but most definitely not all of it.

Definitely not all, but I would say $15 of the $21 mil and up, especially if he went to Tampa
