look, i enjoyed the first one. it was dumb but it was fun and it was a mile a minute, BUT HE DIED IN THAT MOVIE. he fell out of a helicopter far above the city skyline. he bounced when he landed. i don't know how it's possible to have a sequel with the same guy starring in it. and don't tell me he's a twin, because that's weak ass.

From what I've read, he is implanted with an artificial heart (how his body didn't explode into 5000 pieces from the fall is beyond me), and needs to constantly jolt it in order to keep it ticking. Also, he goes on a wild goose chase when his real heart is stolen by ruthless Chinese mobsters.

This all sounds plausible to me.

I was thinking the first one could have been a dream and part 2 starts with the guy waking up, bathed in sweat.

Anyone who's watched either of those movies is a half-a-tard. No offense Mikey.

How can you make a statement like that without watching them?

exactly. also, who gives a shit about it being plausible. The Chinese pick him off the ground to take his heart. give him an artificial heart while they are going to harvest the rest off his organs. the cinematography is great. Corey fucking Haim is in it with a mullet. Amy Smart strips, gets fucked kicks some ass. It is funny, lots of action. Jason Stathom is a badass. It is mindless entertainment. seriously, watch it.

I was just fucking with you Mikey. The first one was a gulty pleasure of mine. I'd be the last one to denigrate anyone for watching mindless entertainment, given the amount of cheesy horror movies that I watch.

The same way I can make that statement about the Vin Diesel baby sitting movie. It looks stupid, has a stupid plot, and looks like nothing I'd want to waste time or money on.

You've never enjoyed a totally stupid, brainless movie before? You only watch Ingmar Bergman films?

I haven't seen Crank or Crank 2, but it seems like a pretty bold statement to call someone who has watched either of them a "half-a-tard."

Just sayin'.

I was saying it to be funny, not offensive. I've watched stupid brainless movies before, but most of them tend to be horror movies. Pointless action movies annoy me. For the record, Jason Statham has only been in 2 good movies in his whole career.

Statham (among other action stars) will be in The Expendables, and I DEFINITELY want to see that one.
