It would have been cool if CSN had been back from the commercial break before the second one.

I just now saw the highlights... those were both BOMBS. Both into the 2nd deck there.

He's now 8th in the NL in HR, 5th in RBI, and 7th in OPS.

Since April, he's hitting .324, with 28 HR and 83 RBI.

QUOTE Derrek Lee's 6-year-old daughter, Jada, is always asking him to hit a home run, so the first baseman was a little worried when he left to rejoin the Chicago Cubs after his wife gave birth to their second child.

"I told her, 'Man, now I've got to hit a home run for you and Dylan. It's going to be tough,' " Lee said. "So I'm sure they're excited today watching at home."

I know we've sucked as a whole this season, but imagine how terrible our record would be this year without Lee. And Eric Karabell from ESPN wanted Micah to be the everyday first baseman earlier in the season

That quote from Lee is great, by the way.

If you would have told me before the start of the season that both Fuk and D Lee would have
kick-ass years, and that'd we'd have a total surprise SP who would become a ROTY candidate, and yet still be 10 games out of first, I would have been stunned.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Not sure if I'd call Fukudome's year kick-ass, but it has been better than expected, compared to last year at least.
