MLB.TV just got much more living-room friendly.

I already watch it on the big boy tv with dedicated HTPC in the living room...but I'm considerring just moving that PC elsewhere and getting one of these. Much less hassle and Netflix, etc. too.

I'm hoping for MLB.tv on the Xbox 360. It's my media center. I already use it for Netflix, other videos, and of course video games. However, I have to hook my laptop up to the tv if I want MLB.tv in HD.

The HTPC is too complicated for my wife for Netflix online (even with a Windows Media Center plugin for Netflix) or watching disks. I'm thinking this Roku makes sense now because it'll handle games for me and Netflix for both of us. I never use that HTPC for anything else and the fan in it's kinda noisy in the AV cabinet.

I wish I could access MLB-TV from my Samsung Blu-ray player like I do Netflix and Pandora. Oh this is off topic, but DirecTV On Demand blows.

MLB.TV is cutting deals...Roku...iPhone. Your net-capable Blu-ray may well get access. The only reason for MLB.tv not to rush into the arms of every device out there is that they wouldn't want to undermine their deal with DitrectTV and the cable operators...or get sued for that matter. If they enable your Samsung, they create an opportunity to sign another subscriber after all.
