The Coens are right under Scorsese on my list of favorite filmmakers. So, needless to say, I'm pretty excited...

It will be interesting to see what you think of it. I'm guessing you've seen and heard a bunch of clips and quotes from it already. I hope that hasn't ruined the experience before you can even see it.

That looks unbelievable. Can't freaking wait.
One more to add to the list of Coen Bros films to see is Blood Simple. That's probably my favorite "modern" western noir of the last 30 years.

I'm guessing that Lebowski will quickly become Tom's favorite Coen Brothers movie if he sees it; it's right up his alley.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Tom is "the Big Lebowski".
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

I just watched Millers Crossing the other night for the first time and found that to be quite enjoyable.
Also, I think Tommy will absolutely LOVE TBL.

I've said it on these boards before, but "Miller's Crossing" might be the most underrated movie of all time. I basically watch it every time I catch it on cable. Saying I love that movie is an understatement. And I cannot for the life of me explain why I love it so much. I just do.
