If not, I think you'd have to put a limit on how many years a player can be kept.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

You can do both. We move guys up a round, but after I drafted Kurt Warner in the 15th round in his first year, we decided to limit all contracts to 3 years. In football that's a lifetime.

that sounds good to me.

Great. I don't know if it's me or if paypal is fucked up now but I cannot access into my account at all. I have been on ebay for the past hour trying to buy some sunglasses but it keeps kicking me out.

I think I'm going to bow out. I was invited to join a local big money league, so I'm just going to focus on that any my other money league.

Okay. CCub, can you please remove your team from the league when you get chance. Now that CCub is out we have 10 teams which should make a pretty good league. We need to finalize the draft date and time. The draft is currently scheduled for 7:00 PM Central on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Liner suggested that time be moved back, but does that date work for everyone here? Would 8:00 Central work for everyone?

I've always found Sunday nights tend to work well.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

I know I haven't posted here in a while, but I've been in the past two SOI baseball leagues. I don't know if you guys have an opening or not, but if you do I'd love to play. Although it probably isn't even fair...ask Colorado Cub.

Just pick a time for the draft. I should be able to work around it.

I would be free to draft just about any time, except for that last weekend in auguest. I'm moving to a new apartment then and haven't yet figured out my new cable/internet situation.

Okay, I've tentatively changed the draft to Sunday, August 23 at 9:00 PM eastern time. That gives us 19 days to prepare for the draft and get everyone paid. Let me know if this doesn't work for anyone. Another option would be Sunday, September 6, but that is Labor Day weekend and I'm sure some of you will have conflicts.
