Harden can always come in to bunt or PH.

I've said my peace. I'm just consistently astonished at baseball fans immediate reaction to blame the manager when the player completely fucks up. In this case, the manager is an idiot for not bringing in a right handed hitter to face a right handed pitcher, because it's somehow a guarantee that he would hit a flyball. Putting in the lefty who SHOULD be able to handle the bat is complete insanity.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

Font was 0-3 against him with a K and has been terrible all season. You and Lou both place way to much emphasis on lefty righty matchups.

Fox would have been the right move when all you need is a fly ball to win.

At least Jeff Stevens continues to impress and show we didn't give up "nothing" for DeRosa.

Sent down for Hart's last callup.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

If you're going to call for a bunt, put in a guy who bunts from time to time. Valverde was all over the place. You send Bradley home when Valverde's pitch was as likely to be a foot outside as it was a strike? Stupid move for so many reasons. If we lose this game, it's on Lou.

I didn't think Bourn could hit it that well to left. And asking another inning out of Stevens seems risky. Would've been nice to let him exit with a great outing considering he's been in the league like 2 weeks.

That's a complete crock of shit. I could give a flying fuck about righty/lefty, and I don't think it's something I really harp on, so your generalization is bullshit. However, in this case, 95 percent of managers in baseball would likely go with a lefty, if they had a choice. Also, if Lou's intent was to bunt, Fontenot was by far a better choice. Regardless, no matter who you talk to, rational people wouldn't look at putting a lefty in against a righty as an insane move.

However your vast sample size of 3 at bats for Fontenot IS intriguing.
