Harden hitting 96 mph in the 1st, like his start at Pittsburgh.

This is the toughest of the series on paper, a win here would be nice. So far Harden looks solid. I can't believe how excited I am to watch baseball again after that tough first half.

I feel like the first half cubs would not get this run in, so maybe if they do, I can tell myself it's a good sign.

98 mph(on both CSN and pitch/fx on gameday). Haven't seen him hit that since last August or so.

DeeeLEEEE. Nice. Lead off double should mean another run.... As Aram winces following a swing....

Though Kasper said he didn't wince. Disagreed.

Well, Soriano isn't missing a beat in the mental department so far in the second half...

Awful baserunning, but that's the last thing on my mind right now. That hand was hurting him, particularly a finger it appeared. He was grimacing in the dugout as Mark O'Neill looked at it. Hate Soriano all you want right now, but we -need- him down the stretch. We need him to have a couple of his patented hot streaks. Any sort of setback like this while he's struggling worse than ever before in his career on top of that would be a very bad thing.
