Why doesn't he just hit right handed all the time. Obviously he's not gaining anything from batting lefty against righties.
I got nothin'.

Because that would throw a monkey wrench into the Hendry/Lou plan of having a more LHed lineup.

Not sure about that, but we'll take it.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

That was a strike, but I'll fucking take it.

The ump looked like he had a dinner reservation to catch.

I thought it was up.

After the replay, it was at the letter. Fox may have helped it with a little extra squat, and maybe it could have been called a strike, but it certainly wasn't a gift from the ump.
The thing you need to remember is that all Cardinals fans and all White Sox fans are very bad people. It's a fact that has been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Being a Cubs fan is the only path to rightousness and piousness. Cardinal and White Sox fans exist to be the dark, diabolical forces that oppose us. They are the yin to our yang, the Joker to our Batman, the demon to our angel, the insurgence to our freedom, the oil to our water, the club to our baby seal. Their happiness occurs only in direct conflict with everything that is pure and good in this world.

Yeah, in his crouch, it was a couple of inches above the belt. But that could have gone either way.

That final pitch was a bit high and Kendall tried to frame it.

We can't lose at home. Too bad we can't duplicate that mojo away from Wrigley.

Even when we win it still feels kind of like shit.

Fuck that. I'm on cloud nine after every win.

Try to relax and enjoy even the smallest victories. We're getting healthier and should be ready to make a run next week. Take it as it comes man. Not every season can be like 2008.
