Yeah... I'd just save that for next year.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I could see trotting him out for a couple of starts to try and build buzz for next year.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Right, show off that he is indeed healthy and going to be big part of the team next year. Also let him face some live major league hitting before the year is up so he isn't coming into ST cold.

Indeed, but this is on top of back and groin problems that have had him sidelined since April. Also, I'm tired of reading about him and the 2003 season.

Anyone watching the Brewers/Cardinals game? I don't understand how LaTroy's "quick pitch" isn't a balk. Don't you have to come set before making a pitch in the stretch?

Sox swept...they did not draw a single walk over the entire series. That's pretty astounding.

Saw on sportscenter that it was only the 3rd time in MLB history a team has been swept in 4 games at home without drawing a walk.

I saw Fuk did a number on the Sox yesterday. First he drilled Humber in the mellon with a line drive. Then roped a go-ahead RBI triple, which turned out to be the game winner.
That kind of brought a smile to my face.

I think he's a free agent next year. We could really use a high OBP left handed outfielder.....
