Nice! Surprise bunt laid down perfectly by White Slice, and Theriot scores.

Yeah, and against a lefty. No offense to Mike, but Stults must really suck.

I find the game threads much less amusing when we're winning.

Maybe our best all-around game of the year, nicely done. Dempster was terrific. Pitching staff just allowed 3 runs to a very good Dodgers offense the last 3 games.

Absolutely. This was by far the best game from our B team since Aramis went on the DL.

Yep, and it was nice to see us finding ways to drive in those runs. Once we got that first run in from third, it was getting the monkey off our back. Fontenot "looked" (as I couldn't see the game) excellent, both at the plate and on defense. And, like you said, Dempster had a terrific bounceback start.

It's interesting to watch Fontenot lately. As he's become more comfortable at 3B, he's also started to look much more relaxed and disciplined at the plate. I'm not 100% sure which part of his game affected the other, but it's clear that the switch to 3B messed with his head. Good to see him snap out of it. Now if we could just get some consistency at 2B, we could be in decent shape until Aramis comes back.

Great win.
Too bad Dempster couldn't swap this start with a certain other start back in October.
