We know he's going to rake. Everybody and their mother has said he's so bad there you just can't put him there at the major league level. Fontenot's made a couple great plays there tonight. Obviously if he's just going to get a hit every time up, it's worth the risk though, I agree.

But can't we assume that he can make, at least, the normal plays over there? Is he so awful that other teams are just going to bunt at him and run around the bases? This team needs an offensive spark at this point.

I've never seen him play third, so maybe he can't do the job.

I've seen some in ST, that's it. Looked pretty bad, and everything I've read makes it sound much worse. I agree though, might as well see what he can do.

Soriano's gonna hit .500 with 6 bombs over a 10 day span and then hit .150 over a 20 day span with 2 bombs. He's gonna be a treat for the next 5 years.
