The forecast for tonight doesn't look promising with all the rain in the area.

Also, how did Freel get that nickname?

Because he's at least as bat shit crazy as Bradley and Z.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Ryan Freel said not even Farney believed that Freel made the stupendous diving catch on Albert Pujols Tuesday.

Farney? Who's Farney?

"He's a little guy who lives in my head who talks to me and I talk to him," said Freel, acting as if he finally crashed into too many walls, ran into too many catchers and dived into too many dugouts. "That little midget in my head said, 'That was a great catch, Ryan,' I said, 'Hey, Farney, I don't know if that was you who really caught that ball, but that was pretty good if it was.' Everybody thinks I talk to myself, so I tell 'em I'm talking to Farney.'"<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I posted that and a lot more about him in a thread in the Confines, very interesting guy. He said a couple days ago though that the Farney thing is a joke he's been playing on the media.

And Wittenmyer said on Twitter that they fully expect to get the game in.

I'm really tired of getting like one game on WGN a week. They're trying to quit me. Bastards.

Welp, maybe they won't play. Tornado warnings and the CSN reporter said Hendry was "not optimistic" about getting this one in. They'll play a split doubleheader tomorrow(1:20 PM CT start) if they can't play tonight.

The tarp is off and they are getting ready to go. They're definitely going to play, don't know if they're going to finish though

Game on. Strike one to The Brother of Pubes.

Infield single. Farney couldn't handle it.

Maybe we should consider not pitching to their only offensive threat from now on.

Really wish they would just put Adrian on with this shitty lineup. He's a top-5 hitter in the game and the rest are all blah hitters or worse.
