Lee's been way behind Peavy's fastball tonight, and he'd been getting good fastball swings before being out. I mean he turned on a Lincecum one for a double off the wall down the line in his last game before going down again. We'll see how he looks tomorrow, but he's pretty got no chance against Peavy tonight and maybe wasn't ready to be back. Like Bob said, you can't simulate Jake Peavy's stuff in bp.
I don't think I've ever seen a left-handed hitter hit a ball where Milton did at Wrigley. That had to be 470 feet.
Best swing Geo's had since the last homestand.

Heilman kinda sucks. Not as bad as Lee, but bad.
And clappie, I will second your thought that Bradley's home run went about as far as I've seen a left hander hit one. Although I did see Strawberry put one on top of the CF camera box.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

Derrek Lee hit one up there in 2005 too.
The last time I can remember a ball being hit that far back in right center was by Brant Brown, about 10 years ago on a day when the wind was blowing out.

I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.
